Temporary Venue change

On Thursday 16th January classes will take place in the gym  at Nunnery Wood high school.
Class times will be as per our normal schedule.
That is the school on the left as you drive towards the car park at Nunnery Wood Sports Centre.
The gym is the large glass windowed room to the right of the main school reception.
 
Access to the gym is via the main school reception and then turn right.
There are separate male and female entrances just as you enter the main corridor.

Happy New Year to all students.

Festive Season classes

The festive season has arrived and that means the club will be taking its annual break.

The last classes will take place on Monday 16th December 2019.

The club will resume normal class schedules on Thursday 2nd January 2020 at Nunnery Wood Sports Complex.

A huge thank you to all my students for supporting the club throughout the year.
 
2019 has without doubt been the best ever year for the club with many success stories along the way.
Let’s make 2020 even better.
 
Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year to all. Enjoy the break and come back refreshed in 2020.

Grading success

Congratulations to Pauline Wunsch, Chris Shawcross, Matt Anstiss and Ben Murphy on their recent grading success.
Pauline and Chris graded to 7th Kyu whilst Matt and Ben graded to 9th Kyu, at examinations held at West Midlands Shotokan Karate Academy, which is run by Kevin Belwood 3rd Dan IJKA. Kevin’s father Ron Belwood 7th Dan IJKA was the grading examiner.

The club looks forward to their further progress on the mountain trail.
